Grub Ventures is Cornell University’s pioneering undergraduate venture capital organization creating impact in the food and agriculture industry. We are a community of students with a heart for sustainable impact through investing. By leveraging our skills for positive social and environmental change, we hope to redefine the food & ag industry’s place in the world.
Our Mission
Empowering change makers
We want Grub Ventures to be a launchpad for students who care about changing food and agriculture. Our projects have helped alt protein startups raise capital. Our alumni have gone on to work at venture firms investing in sustainable agriculture and food systems, and built startups of their own in areas like regenerative agriculture and CPG. Through project work, farm visits, and conversations with founders and operators, we give analysts exposure to the food system on the ground.
Building meaningful relationships
We believe the best work starts with people who care deeply about what they are building. Through semester-long projects, industry conversations, farm visits, and events, we create relationships that extend beyond a single engagement and give our members a closer look at the people and ideas moving the industry forward.
